In partial modification of the above mentioned NIET, following corrections have been made as follows:

6. Valid Supervisor’s certificate of competency with parts as mentioned in the NIET

7. Notarized document regarding engagement of Electrical Supervisor as submitted to the licensing board

Section C-Special Terms and Conditions

 

 

New Clause incorporated under Cl. 15 (Pg No. 36):-

m) Signature of Supervisor (for Electrical part of work) and concerned Electrical Engineer of the contractor.

C.31 (Pg No. 39) Compliance of different Acts :

The contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, Minimum Wages Act, 1848. Contact Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970 and the rules and orders issued hereunder from time to time. If he fails to do so, Engineer-in-Charge or Sr. Superintending Engineer may at his discretions, take necessary measure over the contract. The Contractor shall also make himself for any pecuniary liabilities arising out on account of any violation of the provision of the said Act(s). The Contractor must obtain necessary certificate and license from the concerned Registering Office under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970. The contractor shall be bound to furnish the Engineer-In-Charge all the returns, particulars or date as are called for from time to time in connection with implementation of the provisions of the above Acts and Rules and timely submission of the same, failing which the contractor will be liable for breach of contract and the Engineer-in-Charge may at his discretion take necessary measures over the contract.

C.31 (Pg No. 39) Compliance of different Acts :

The Contractor shall also make himself for any pecuniary liabilities arising out on account of any violation of the provision of the said Act(s). C.52        Shifting of Electrical Utility Services

 

i)     The civil contractor shall, in accordance with applicable laws and with assistance of the department, execute shifting of electrical utilities to an appropriate location for alignment, if such utility or obstructions adversely affect the execution of the civil works, through any enlisted erection contractor/ agency of WBSEDCL. If the civil contractor himself is enlisted with WBSEDCL, he may execute the shifting work himself under the supervision of WBSEDCL.

ii)    A programme of work schedule in detail will have to be submitted prior to commencement of the work so that WBSEDCL can arrange for necessary supervision.

iii)   The materials/ equipments to be utilised in the shifting work must conform to the specifications and drawings of WBSEDCL and as per its approved General Technical Particulars.

iv)   The dismantled distribution transformers are to be returned to the stores of WBSEDCL.

v)    The services to the existing consumers will not be allowed to get affected for such shifting works without prior approval of the WBSEDCL.

vi)   The actual cost of such shifting, as approved and communicated by WBSEDCL, shall be paid by the civil contractor and reimbursed by the department to the contractor from the utility shifting cost provided in the administratively approved amount of the project. (Ref No-1M-25/16/614-R/PL dated 30/05/2017 of the Pr. Sec, PWD read in conjunction with the No- 1M-25/16/848-R/PL dated 02/08/2017 of the Pr. Sec, PWD)

C.52        Shifting of Electrical Utility Services

 

As mentioned in Cl. No. 19 of NIT.

The intending bidders are hereby informed that the Pre-bid meeting will be held on 09.12.2025 at 1 P.M. at Conference Hall, Shilpa Bhavan, 31, Black Burn Lane, Kolkata-700012. Other Terms and Conditions of the said NIET will remain unchanged.
